Lee's Influences

Kelvin Henderson was one of the best known Country artists on the UK circuit back in the 1980's, Kelvin was always willing to offer his time and encouragement when I started out playing country music, for this I will always be grateful.
Unfortunately I am very sad to say that Kelvin passed away at 1.30pm on Friday April 2nd 2010 after enduring several years with a crippling illness 'Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy (PSP)' that left him unable to perform and that limited his mobility and ability to speak.
Mike Willis has set up a website in recognition of Kelvin's life and his contribution to British Country Music.

Mike Willis played lead guitar with Kelvin for many years and has been known to blow the dust off his guitar on occassion and dep with me on a couple of gigs, always a pleasure to have Mike come out to play.
